Definisie en gebruik

Die alt-eienskap stel of gee die waarde van die alt-kenmerk van 'n prent terug.

Die vereiste alt-kenmerk spesifiseer 'n alternatiewe teks vir 'n prent, as die prent om een of ander rede nie vertoon kan word nie (as gevolg van stadige verbinding, 'n fout in die src-kenmerk, of as die gebruiker 'n skermleser gebruik).
