Definisie en gebruik

Die nodeType-eienskap gee die nodustipe terug, as 'n nommer, van die gespesifiseerde nodus.

As die nodus ’n elementnodus is, sal die nodeType-eienskap 1 terugstuur.

As die nodus 'n kenmerknodus is, sal die nodeType-eienskap 2 terugstuur.

As die nodus 'n teksnodus is, sal die nodeType-eienskap 3 terugstuur.

As die nodus 'n kommentaarnodus is, sal die nodeType-eienskap 8 gee.
