Die CommandType-eienskap stel of gee 'n CommandTypeEnum -waarde wat die tipe van die Command-objek definieer. Verstek is adCmdUnknown.
As jy nie die tipe spesifiseer nie, sal ADO die verskaffer moet kontak om die tipe opdrag te bepaal. As jy egter die tipe spesifiseer, sal ADO die opdrag vinniger kan verwerk.
