ADO Record Object
Rekordvoorwerp (ADO weergawe 2.5)
Die ADO Record-objek word gebruik om 'n ry in 'n rekordstel, 'n gids of 'n lêer vanaf 'n lêerstelsel te hou.
Slegs gestruktureerde databasisse kon deur ADO in weergawes voor 2.5 verkry word. In 'n gestruktureerde databasis het elke tabel presies dieselfde aantal kolomme in elke ry, en elke kolom is saamgestel uit dieselfde datatipe.
Die Rekord-objek laat toegang tot datastelle toe waar die aantal kolomme en/of die datatipe van ry tot ry verskil.
